• TRIPS (Tea Resource Information Processing System)

DSS has developed a total integrated Tea Resource Information Processing System for Tea Estates worldwide. TRIPS takes care of all the activities of a Tea Estate such as Manufacturing, Service Activities, Inventory including Purchase, Payroll, Finance, Executive Information System (EIS) etc. TRIPS is very user friendly and any person with little bit of training can use it.

TRIPS is divided into the following Main Modules:

Manufacturing
Daily Green leaf Plucking and analysis. Ascertainment of Productivity in terms of Employees worked and quantity of leaves plucked in a particular day.

Inventory & Warehouse Management
Movement of materials and stock maintenance including Purchase Order Maintenance etc & tracking. The salient features include Automated Order placing, re-order level alert, tracks issues & issue-returns.

Payroll
Calculates Pay bill of all employees, including statutory deductions, Calculation of incentive etc. Keeps track of attendance, OT, Holidays etc. Facilitates removal/adding of Earnings/ Deductions for a particular month.

Finance
Records all Financial Transactions and Generates Financial Reports like Cash Flows, General Ledger, Profit & Loss Statements, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Reconciliation statement. Maintain various Daybooks and Ledgers.

Executive Information System
Generates Analytical Reports and queries for Top & Middle level management to take Decisions.

Environment
Visual Basic 6.0 and Back End in SQL Server 7.0, IF customer Wishes we can customize the package with Oracle 8 or MS Access as Back end.

Customization
As seen above the TRIPS is designed in such a way that it takes care about all the activities in Tea Estates. After a system study at the client end, we can customize the above package in more comfortable and easier way in lesser time period at Customer Place.
